I have today set up remote journalling which was fairly straightforward. Now I am considering how to apply the the journals on the remote machines to keep the files on those machines up to date. I know that I have to use the RCVJRNE command with a program that I must write. This doesn't seem too frightening but it may be that there are more problems than I realise. Does anyone have any experience of doing this that they might be willing to share?

At present, I am not trying to create an automatic switchover solution. However, I would appreciate any tips on how to ensure that only one machine is available for production updating at any one time.

I doubt that it is relevant, but the source machine and one of the targets are on V5R1. The second target is on V4R5.

Many thanks
