I went back and rooted through a closet and actually found the box for the older copy of PComm. It's version 4.1 and appears to be back from 03/96. I even thought they did away with the division that developed PCOMM. Welllll... I actually went and looked around and apparently, it still lives.... http://www-306.ibm.com/software/network/pcomm/ Keith Carpenter wrote:
I've got PComm (Personal Communications) 5.8 which I think is still the latest. Basically, PComm is the CA emulator(neither will install if the other is loaded). PComm is nice if you just want a straight emulator. It does 5250, 3270 and some ascii emulations. It can connect via IP, SNA, and even twinax (using an emulation card).
