Hi Jim,

It's case sensitive, lowercase then uppercase. The ccsid on the directories on my machine is 37, so I assume we're talking EBCDIC, so files starting with a number would be at the end.

Has anyone run across trying to display a file in IFS with WRKLNK and doing the F17 to position and it bringing up the wrong file? We are on v5r3 and TL05298 applied. Without noticing it was showing me the wrong file on the position I sent a vendor year old info and they though I was nuts (they might have a good case but that is another issue).

This always worked under v5r2 but it could be just a numbers issue, as this directory has lots (techinal term) of files in it (not sure if there is a way to count them), and maybe we went over some magical # or something.

Thanks,
