Why does it have to come in multiple packages?
Because its cheaper than paying someone to actually consolidate orders into a single box (according to whomever did the analysis).
In the past year I have had: Boxes shipped to me with only a few sheets of paperwork The wrist grounding strap Jeff mentioned.Multiple orders of circuit cards where the barcode on the outside of the box did not match the product inside the box (all manufactured & boxed in other countries).
(not a shipping isue, but a quality issue) the two i5's I know of do not have a working, functional front cover door. They are all broken. IBM states that front door must be on and closed for proper airflow.
