Thanks Scott,

Do you know any way to add Devices through an API? We want to test the
maximum and see what happens. (Consolidating Centers). This will only be
temporary, hopefully we'll get rid of all the old code soon.

The cross reference isn't stored in the database.
The mappings are stored in the #LIBRARY/QS36ENV object, type *S36.

There is an API available in the QSSP library called QEXCVTDV.
Here is a link to a midrange.com archive on its use.

You need to have option 5 of 5722-SS1 installed on your system
to have the QSSP library, even if you aren't running anyting in
    the S/36 environment.

    5722SS1 5 OS/400 - System/36 Environment

Does anyone know where the cross reference files that contains the
    400
virtual name (QPADEVxxxxx) to s/36 WSID (W1, W2, etc) are stored or
    does
anyone know what happens when the maximum # of 36 sessions are
    logged on
at the same time? You can see the list when in the 36 environment
    and
CHGS36 is keyed under S/36 display IDs.
