Maybe I should clarify this a little.

1. I have a screen that is displayed while the RPG program is waiting on
data to arrive in a DTAQ.
2. When data finally arrives in the DTAQ, I display another screen based on
the contents of the DTAQ.
3. If the user has been pressing keys on the "waiting" screen, the buffered
keystrokes are passed to this screen.
4. I want to clear or ignore the buffered keystrokes before displaying the
second screen.
