Scenario.  Same hardware.  i5/OS only - no Linux.  Different backup 
program.
Starts out with some minor backup done to the tape.  Very little space use 
- as to be insignificant.  Then it gets into this command
             SAV DEV(&SAVDEV) OBJ( +  
                 ('/NOTES01/*') +  
                 ) ENDOPT(*LEAVE) OUTPUT(*PRINT) +  
                        EXPDATE(&EXPDT)  
Starts at 20:09.  At 21:54 it jumps to the next volume.  A time span of 1 
hour and 43 minutes.  Is that what you wanted to know?  Want the 
OUTPUT(*PRINT) and the joblog?
