On our system we have objects named QMQM of types *PGM, *JOBQ, *OUTQ,
*SBSD, *LIB, *USRPRF and *MSGQ. I'll add a recommendation that you do
not put any of the MQ libraries in any user's library list permanently,
just add them before the call and remove them after. It's unlikely, but
in the event that you ever have to restore MQ Series to a working state
it can be very difficult if users have the libraries locked.

I also recommend adding an option to "turn off" MQ calls if you have any
automatic ones. Sometimes the communications with the other agents may
fail and your users will only see their response times deteriorate to
your MQ timeout value.

Thanks for the response Mike, I updated the pgm to add qmqm to resolve
this one.

Yes, it's trying to execute a program and it can't find it in the
library
list. However, QMQM is a library, not a program. Maybe the calling
program
has the called program name wrong?

Hi folks, I'm getting a MCH3401 error,

For a system pointer, it can not be resolved to object QMQM, type

object
was
not in any context referred to or the correct object was located
but
the

The object types for common type or subtype codes follow:
     -- 0100-Access group, 0201-Program, 0401-Library,
     -- 0701-Journal receiver, 0801-User profile, 0901-Journal,
     -- 0B90-Data space, 0C90-Data space index, 0D50-Data base file
member,

The authority for pgm QMQM is correct but could this be and issue with
the
liblist? QMQM is not in the users libl that's getting this error.
