That's what i'm hoping to hear... I talked with support a bit ago and they
tell me that if the BP uses the correct feature code on the order it should
definitely include the I_BASE_01 CDs.

The chances are that the software ship box will contain both the 5.3.0 and
5.3.5 LIC CD's

Re: New 520+ Shipment

It will be actually ordered next week. The quotes so far from our BP have
specified V5R3:
|-------+---------------------|
|3535 |Version 5 Release 3.5|
|-------+---------------------|

When the actual final order is put in, we'll make sure it is for V5R3...

With that said, I await further info! ;)

Can we assume your order specifically specified V5R3 and not the
current V5R4?

Subject: New 520+ Shipment

I'm trying to remember what all we'll receive when we get a new 520+
(7143
Growth RAID) next month... will it come with a set of V5R3 media? I'm
mainly wondering if it will come with the proper I_BASE_01 V5R3M5 RSC
LIC
install CD.

I think it will come with the V5R3M5 loaded, but we'll probably do
several
test/planning migrations prior to the actual cutover, it would help to
have
the V5R3M5 LIC on CD.
