If it wasn't a S/36 environment program I'd suggest changing the library. But all S/36 stuff uses either QS36F or the library specified in that one area. But if you could segregate your data by library this works wonders for authorization lists: CHGLIB LIB(MYLIB) CRTAUT(MYAUTL) Then whenever an index is created in that library it automatically gets authorization list MYAUTL.
