I have been in threads on & off other lists about the inadequacies of some multi-lingual implementations, and what a company needs to do to fix that.

e.g. Spanish Spanish is different from Mexican Spanish.
e.g. There are translation tools, but questions come up about their quality in a business environment e.g. Not all ingredients of the business data content is actually and readily translated ... there come times when we want to have some special instructions for example, or notes, that an employee will key in, that will need to be read by people in different languages ... manufacturer ... border crossings ... end customer site

This is a topic that crosses computing lines, but is particularly sensitive to the implementation of a particular ERP or whatever software package on AS/400 or other platform ... the project thread may be more appropriate on another list.

*MSGF is a small aspect of this topic.

I also agree with Al about the multi-lingual functionality of *MSGF, what could be easier?
