And there you go.An i5 is like a boom box...it does a lot of things pretty
well and includes most of the features a business would want. *NIX and
Windoze systems are more like component stereos.You can pick your database
and your utilities and all that...and have the responsibility of making
everything work together correctly.

i5 users like printed reports. They also like integration out of the box. If
all you want is a database server, use a p5 or any *NIX or Windoze box. If
you want a business system, get an i5. It makes as much sense for an i5 to
be a purely backend database server as it does for a p5 to be a customer
facing machine.

Different boxes for different needs.
