You have to tell the "device" level description to start with TCP/IP. If
you do WRKNWSSTS and then find the last item in the string it will be a
*NET. That's where you set it... if I remember correctly.

IXS online at IPL - not!

I have a 4812 IXS that is in a new i5. Whenever the system IPL's, this
guy fails to come online. I can start it from the command line but I'd
rather it start at IPL time.

Is there a way to have this configured to start at IPL or do I need to
add an entry to my startup routine to start him "manually"?

Thanks,

Pete Helgren
