Dan,

We aren't. The printek printer is set up attached to a jetdirect. On the 
AS400, we configured a remote outq pointing to the ip address of the 
printer. The spool file is just standard *scs spool file from BPCS. So 
unfortunately it's not running through any other special hardware or 
software. Thanks though.

Hi Nick,

Any chance you are using a 3rd party laser print product?

If yes, maybe it is the offender...copying your original *SCS spooled file 
&
then producing a *USERASCII spooled file.
