Chris, Thank you for the response. I am attempting to use an *IP ddm data queue. I checked the WRKRDBDIRE screens on both systems and found that the "remote" did not have an entry for the "local". I added the entry. The program works. Thanks again. Nick
Are you creating an *IP or *SNA DDM Data Queue? If you are attempting to use the default of *SNA, you must have SNA set up between the servers and a Relation Data Base entry in your system, WRKRDBDIRE. Make sure both systems have an entry for *local and the remote system. Make sure you have both Controllers and Device descriptions on each system pointing to the remote system. If you run over an existing line such as your Ethernet, you will not need to define a line description. I went thru the archives and found most of what I think I need. Thank you to all those that have posted in the past. However, I must not have something quite right. I am receiving a CPF4364 Remote location SYSTEMB for program device DDMDEVICE was not found. -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
