I missed the announcement and am wondering when and where's for the Fall Common Conference? -- Jack Derham -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Haase, Justin C. Sounds like you're upset with COMMON, as this really didn't answer any of the original poster's question - just sounded like a rant about scheduling. Perhaps contacting them directly would be of more benefit. To lend assistance to the original question, although COMMON may have a "focus," it's not meaning that all the topics will cover that particular category. In my experience, all the other stuff and all the vendors will be there - you just check the schedule o' events and classes to make absolutely sure of things you like. I know every time I've gone, focus or not, there's always been waaaay to much scheduled and not enough time to go to it! Definitely a value. -- Justin C. I had one introductory session scheduled for Monday, another on save-while-active for Tuesday, but nothing on Wednesday I may just not show up, get my one day free pass for Sunday to get my award for my session scheduled for Thursday, and skip the remainder of my sessions. That would mean that the award winning session would be skipped. Does this imply that if I'm not interested in D.R. as much as other areas, I should avoid the conference? I'm guessing not, mainly because the fall conference isn't subtitled "Disaster Recovery", but there is a non-emphasized link on the fall conference page that points to the D.R. page. (Of all the sub-topics, the one I *would* be interested in is the Application Design.) Has the educational focus for the Spring '07 conference been determined yet?
