We are purchasing a 520+ Value Edition to replace our existing production
520 Value Edition which will then be used as a development/test box.
Basically, we will just be swapping out the CEC in the rack leaving all the
disk drives and other add-ons in place. My question is since all the disk
drives and other resources will remain in place, can I just swap out the
load source drives in the CEC (2 drives in a mirrored pair), IPL to DST,
verify/adjust resource names and be on my way without having to restore the
system from tape? Both systems will be at V5R4.
