Actually it is the save that marks the object as damaged.  Then the RCLSTG 
handles the damaged object.  With this in mind some may argue that it 
makes more sense to save, then RCLSTG.  However we still do it backwards 
because we cling to some small hope (not faith - big difference) that the 
RCLSTG may help ensure a good save.
