Well, isn't THAT special... The supplier of the service had the phone line disconnected when they moved. They are in the process of getting it connected again. Supposed to be up by Friday the 18th... -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of smorrison@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, August 09, 2006 2:08 PM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: Re: Communications problem
They moved. Everything EXCEPT the phone number is the same, as far as I know, but now we can't communicate with their machine. If we call the number from a cell phone, it connects to their modem. If we attempt to call from the computer, there is no response on the other
end. Did you edit the new number yourself? Do you need a prefix to dial out of your PBX? What is the modem type? Try putting an "8," or a "9," in front of the phone number.
