ditto on: 1. assign the select statement to a variable - then you can look at the result in debug or a dump. 2. adding parens to group your selects. 3. changing *DIV to &DIV I would add one more thing: don't be afraid to use a doublequote instead of two single quotes for wrapping your alpha constants.
