Rob,

That doesn't work.

The first entry displayed is the add of the first record back into the
file after it was changed.

I assume the problem has something to do with the fact that journaling
was stopped on the original file, the original file was renamed, a new
file was created and then journaling was started.

When I specify the file name on DSPJRN, it only goes back as far as the
current file's creation.  It doesn't go back and show me entries for the
original file even though it has the same name.

DSPJRN not showing entries prior to a modification of a file's format






All,

I know I've been bit by this before, but I didn't tried very hard to
find a solution.

I'm trying to DSPJRN to figure out what happen to a couple of 
records in
a file.

However, DSPJRN doesn't seem to want to show me anything prior to July
30, 2006 which is when the file in question had it's format changed.

How can I look at journal entries from before that?
