It looks like you can get fancy with this prompting stuff. I'll have to experiment to see if I can refine things to secure things a bit more. While I do trust this one person, she learned CPYSPLF from another person, so ultimately it could end up with somebody who I don't trust so much. Better to be safe than sorry. Thanks Tommy, Rob, and everybody else. A little more... <snip> ou can do a lot more with prompted commands - you can choose which parms to prompt, </snip> To prompt particular keywords put 2 question marks in front of the keyword for example: CPYSPLF ??FILE() ??TOFILE() ??JOB() Thanks, Tommy Holden -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Turnidge, Dave Sent: Tuesday, August 22, 2006 1:52 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: RE: Menu Option Prompting You can do a lot more with prompted commands - you can choose which parms to prompt, and many other options... -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of daparnin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, August 22, 2006 1:50 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: RE: Menu Option Prompting Cool, it worked!!!
