Hello Barbara, Just what I said: I'm looking at the 4. Bit (b'0000 1000') for getting information about DDM file or not: If %BitAnd(%SubSt(Qaaf2:2:1):x'08') = x'08'; DDMFile = 'yes'; Else; DDMFile = 'no'; EndIf; But this Bit is allways off :( Bit 3 (b'0001 0000') is saying about the size (on = *MAX1TB, off = *MAX4GB) and is allways correct: If %BitAnd(%SubSt(Qaaf2:2:1):x'10') = x'10'; AccPSize = '*max1TB'; Else; AccPSize = '*max4GB'; EndIf;
From where gets the DspFD-Command the correct information? I can't believe
from this API. the second byte should by ON if it is the a DDM file. But this bit always is OFF: b'0001 0000'.
I think you should be looking at b'0000 1000'. If it is bit 4 starting from 0 and counting from the left, the bits would be numbered like this: b'0123 4567' Looking in the QSYSINC/H QDBRTVFD file, the Qaaf2 structure ends with these two fields: unsigned Qdbfdisf:1; /* File is distributed indicator. unsigned Reserved_119:3; /* Reserved. */ -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
