Quoting "Burns, Bryan" <Bryan_Burns@xxxxxxxxxxxx>:
One of our company's nightly SAVLIB routine includes a library, IBSAISLOG, which consists of 230,000 *USRSPC objects. The owner of the user spaces is QTMHHTP1 and the user spaces are the only type of objects in the library.Needless to say, the SAVLIB slows down when it hits the IBSAISLOG lib. Does it make sense to backup user spaces?
Might depend on how much they are changed. Alternatively, do a full save weekly, but SAVCHGOBJ during the week. No changes - nothing gets saved. John McKee
