Any idea if we could install Linux in a LPAR, install VMWare's ESX (for Linux) software and create Windows machines under that? Would get rid of having IXA/IXS's Mike.

The Linux server then looks just like any other Linux Server. In fact the VMWare site has downloadable pre-built Linux images so you don't even need to do a full Linux setup.
