Datalink fields look very interesting. It appears, however, they can only be defined via s.q.l. That means I either redefine the file that way or create a new file with just the key fields and the datalink field. Either answer has a couple of problems. The first is that some folks here might balk at a file defined without d.d.s. and the second is the file would have to be defined without using reference fields.
