I don't know how to do it programatically in Access, but I would do this: Create a comma seperated variable file; Get that file on the iSeries (FTP, mapped drive); Use CPYFRMIMPF to put it into a PF on the iSeries. You can kick off a .cmd file on Windows with the RUNRMTCMD command. On 9/7/06, Smith, Mike <Mike_Smith@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
I need to transfer several tables from an Access Database- I know, I know. Theres not any chance any time soon of the Access being replaced as it is from a vendor product. Anyway this has to be an automated process on a quarterly basis(preferably kicked off from the ISERIES. I don't see a way to do this with Client Access. Any ideas on how to accomplish this?
