Generally the announcement was a good thing but it still need more buy in from the user community (I think). It was affirmed by all but I am not sure that it would have be characterized as "enthusiastically" received. But, then a user community enhancement, rather than a hardware and software announcement, is a bit different. I am think thinking on it and what the overall impact it will have.
