I am writing a CLP that will allow me to change the RECOVER() parameter
for physical and logical files that have indexes. The first step after
getting the file name is to ALCOBJ the file. There is one (so far)
condition that isn't responding the way I want it to.

I am getting a CPF1085 message that tells me that the allocate failed,
however, in the log I am seeing a CPF0944 message that says that it
failed because it had no members. In this case, I want to go ahead and
make my change. However, I can't monitor for the CPF0944 because it is a
Diagnostic message, whereas CPF1085 is an Escape message.

It appears I have to use some version of RTVMSG, but the samples I have
found so far haven't seemed to work.

What I want to do is monitor for the CPF1085 message, and then check for
having received a CPF0944. If it is the '0944, go ahead and update,
otherwise get the next file name.

Can someone give me direction in this matter?

TIA,

Dave
