Hi All, Just had a network crash for an hour, telephones going wild, but one department was able to continue working because their boss saw no reason for all his staff to have PC's when all their work could be done on dumb terminals, so he had kept a few. Trucks were queuing around the corner waiting for the network to be fixed so they could be loaded. A shot in the arm here for the case to keep the iSeries, from what I have heard there is no advantage to having the new system they are looking at anyway, in fact in places it is worse than the iSeries, so I think it is just perception that the iSeries is behind times because of the GOB, plus the difficulty in getting programmers, that they justify the reason to get rid of it. This is the second network crash they have had in three months. Steve
