MUST use CRDTUPOBJ, not CPYF. Triggers that come with it are VERY important to the OS.
From a performance perspective, you are better off duplicating it once to a
non-QTEMP library and have developer use that copy of the file. Sounds like your QUSRSYS/QAQQINI changes often so you're correct, you'd have to have some process in place that insures all QAQQINI copies are updated appropriately when QUSRSYS copy is.
