We do not put source on our production box.

However if you must, you could secure the source libraries to read only 
for all the developers.  The change management software, I am sure, adopts 
authority and will elbow it's way in.  All this is thrown out the window 
if your developers have *ALLOBJ.

Our developers quickly learned how well change management software adopts 
authority to do stuff.  They now use it to do all sorts of work they are 
not authorized to do on the production machine.  :-(
Bet you can't guess that we don't use the recommended step of management 
review, eh?
