You will definitely need CLR 2.0 and maybe 1.1 depending on what libraries 
you use. 

The express version has a minimal disk footprint though.

Thanks Richard...I'll check it out. I need to build client code on thin
clients. I don't have a lot of room. I currently using VB 6.0 and C. I 
need
to see if the CLR needs to be installed to make this stuff work.
