Anne, you should be using the QSPROUTQ API. http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r3/index.jsp?topic=/apis/QSPROUTQ.htm I wrote a utility to do what you need, minus the *outfile. I include the source so you should be able to modify to fit your needs. Look for WRKRMTWTR here http://home.columbus.rr.com/jbmmdietz/iseries.html Good luck, _____________________________ Bryan Dietz midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote on 10/10/2006 08:30:18 AM: -> Hi all, -> -> I'm trying to get outq descriptions (*all outq's) to an *outfile, but can't -> find a command that gives me especially IP adresses, Manufacturer type and -> model and Workstation customizing object descriptions. -> -> With WRKOUTQD, although that gives me the descriptions I'm looking for, I -> can't select output queue *all nor output to *outfile. -> With DSPOBJD OBJ(*all) OBJTYPE(*outq) I can select all queues and put it in -> an outfile, but the result doesn't give me the descriptions I'm looking for. -> -> Any ideas ? -> -> Thanks -> -> Anne
