Ken, What have you done in the past before your i5? You could always set the QTIMZON to the non-auto adjust version for PST of 'QN0800UTCS' and then do what you did all the years before. If I remember correctly applications like MQ should be shutdown just before 1am and then restarted after the clock has been reset. Better yet schedule a nice long maintenance around those hours... :) _____________________ Kirk Goins Systems Engineer, Manage Inc. Here is an interesting article I just found using my favorite search engine Google..... http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=58&context=SS9UMX&dc=D600&uid=swg21145582&loc=en_US&cs=UTF-8&lang=en It seems to advocate stopping the replication journal in a high availability environment... Is it a stretch to think that this procedure should also apply to ANY system journal??? If so, then an automatic reset of the system clock to standard time shouldn't be allowed to occur... This article seems to recommend using "Time Adjustment" too... But, using "Time Adjustment" can't be combined with allowing the system to automatically reset the system clock. If you did that I would imagine that there would be a possibility of setting your clock back more than one hour. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, what to do ... what to do ...
