Wouldn't have done me any good.  When they found out I was 6' 3" (too 
tall for submarine duty) and blind in one eye (can't fly a plane), they 
politely said, "Thanks, but no thanks,"  and left it at that.  I'm 
pretty sure that at least the latter objection applies to all of the 
academies - but it was worth a shot.
