We use that software. On our development lpar we use a 2742 port and a
7852-400 IBM fax/data modem. Damn little usage.
Our our production lpar we like the 2805 cards. They're basically a four
port card with built in modems. They have just 4 telco jacks that you
plug in. No external modems, bulky cables, etc needed. We have two 2805
cards. Using 7 ports for 5798-FAX and 1 port for 5733-FXD. Probably
overkill for us. I checked and we have only sent out a dozen or two faxes
a day the last few days. Then again, with email now, fax isn't as popular
as it used to be.
