That did it Chris! It took a little longer because I had to go to Best Buy and purchase a switch and a cable crimper to make some cables, but now it is all hooked up and I just compiled my first RPG program!! Thanks everyone that has assisted. This has been a great learning experience for me. My next task is to setup security and from the sounds of it that can be a task. Couldn't be any harder than getting connected to the machine in the first place ;-) Aaron Bartell http://mowyourlawn.com -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Chris Bipes Sent: Tuesday, November 14, 2006 11:23 AM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: RE: System i5 now booted!! was ->RE: System i5 first boot T5 is being used for your OpsConLAN and cannot be used for your regular network connection. Plug a cable in to T6 and you should be good to go. T5 should be CMN03 - OpsConLAN and T6 should be CMN04 or your regular network connection.
