Nice. What happens if I now do an RD on that directory? Does it just remove the reference to the Y machine? -- Paul Nelson Arbor Solutions, Inc. 708-670-6978 Cell pnelson@xxxxxxxxxx -----midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: ----- To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> From: rob@xxxxxxxxx Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx Date: 11/30/2006 11:54AM Subject: Re: Image Catalogues My solution involved no ftp. My solution used the special IFS directory called QFileSvr.400. Just to see how cool QFileSvr.400 is try the following: Let's say you are on system X locally. And you want to see system Y. Then try the following on system X: MD '/QFileSvr.400/Y' WRKLNK '/QFileSvr.400/Y' All sorts of directories on your remote system should show up. I always get an error when I start loading PTFs out of this IMGCLG. If I do a check manually (type *PTF sort *YES), I get an error, too. Looking at the file I see, that this seems to be no pure . ISO9660 data anymore after adding to an IMGCLG. So I deleted the entries in my IMGCLG, put in these 6 CDs again and added them from OPT01. THIS time is worked. So I was wondering what I did wrong using the first method. I checked that I used BIN when tranferring through FTP , so I dont Know what went wrong.
