Good thing you can pop one out of your ThinkPad and replace it. In the
meantime, make .iso's on your PC and place on the IFS with NetServer.

Subject: OOPS. Wrong time of the year for this accident

Yesterday, while one of my clients was in the process of loading CD's
into
an image catalog in preparation for an OS upgrade, the operator
turned the
wrong way and completely wiped out the CD tray. This is in a rack
mounted
   520. Unfortunately, the CD tray is right at shoulder level for that
   operator. :-((
Watch where you are walking, folks.
