We have an old IBM InfoWindow in our computer room as a twinax system
console. I am not sure of the model because I don't want to move it. It has
an Epson DFX-8500 printer attached to it.

If I turn off the monitor to eliminate a bit of heat, will the printer still
be recognized?

I could just try it but I thought I would ask first.
