Oops, SCDBY should be USER.  Thanks for catching this.
If you delete a profile and it's defined as USER in a job schedule entry, then 
the job will fail the next time it's scheduled to run.

I haven't paid much attention to this thread but on my system SCDBY user
profile doesn't matter.  I have some names in there that haven't had a
profile in 3 or 4 years.    Are you sure that was the cause of your
problem?
