I think it is quite efficient. Most times, when I need to know what messages to monitor I am in an editor adding the command. No big deal to prompt it and get the answer. Unless your editor of choice is EDTF. If you don't like that then dump your single session proprietary terminal and get a PC that can support multiple 5250 sessions. Rob Berendt
