SFTP client cannot run in an unattended mode with a user and password. It can run in an unattended mode using encryption keys. Regards, Shalom Carmel ----------------------- www.venera.com

Has anyone been able to demonstrate one way or the other whether the IBM sFTP implementation in 5733-SC1 (IBM Portable Utilities for i5/OS) can run in an unattended batch mode, picking up the user name and password from a script in a manner similar to the regular FTP client? Cheers, Lorne
