No dice.  Same result: Data light flashes briefly, spool file goes to SAV,
no printing takes place.

Does that parm RMTPRTQ('portLF1') mean anything special?

Jeff,
There is a setting for the Format Prefix that should be 
AAH that might change how it works. On my 140XII we had to 
change it when it Network attached

But it didn't work.

The data light flashes briefly and that's it.  And the spool file went
to SAV status as if it completed.

That't the same result I've gotten when trying as a device.
