Are you sure you are even connected to the iSeries in question?
From iNav right-click on the connection and choose Diagnostics->Verify
Connection and see if that checks out. You can also open a WinDoze command prompt and key "cwbping hostname" where hostname is the IP address or DNS name of the iSeries.
