Similarly, if I sign in to a green screen and use the WRKHTTPCFG command,

can access the default "CONFIG" settings, but *ADMIN gives me error

message

HTPA105 (Unable to update server configuration ADMIN.)

Perform the following command:

CHGJOB LOG(4 00 *SECLVL) LOGCLPGM(*YES)

Then try the WRKHTTPCFG and generate the error. Then have a look at your
joblog or post up the relevant section here for review. This command has
been deprecated with the move to Apache server, so I can't try it on my
V5R4 systems.
