Jerry:

I would tend to rely on the generic instructions for a 3rd-party LPP 
where I was evaluating; but from IBM or even a 3rd-party I had a 
reasonable relationship with...? My concern was drop near zero.

In this particular case, I wouldn't be surprised if it simply 
reflected the difficulty of getting 'adopted' authority to apply 
much outside of QSYS.LIB.
