Can someone please point me to a document that provides a quick 
understanding of why I'd want to drive my car to work instead of walking?

I've been walking since I was 9 months old.  I know it works.  It's good 
for my body, it helps me burn up excess calories, build muscles, keep my 
cardiovascular system in good shape, among other things.

Surely someone has written a document explaining why I'd want to drive a 
car?  There must be lots of them, right?
