... but the fact that I can do web, desktop and micro devices all with a

single language. Not many languages can boast that - including RPG and PHP.

Can't speak for the embedded stuff but there are RPGs for the desktop and
although I haven't studied it I'm fairly certain I came upon a PHP platform
for stand-alone desktop apps. Of course by running Apache on my PC along
with DB/2 and PHP I can do that anyway but I'm limited to the browser
interface.
